In this short video we are introduced to the XO-1, which used to be known the $100 Laptop or Children’s Machine, is an inexpensive basic laptop computer aimed at being given out to kids in developing countries all over the
globe, the goal is to give them access to knowledge, and the ability to “explore, experiment and express themselves” . The computer is created by the One Laptop per Child O.L.P.C social welfare group, and produced by the Chinese computer company, Quanta Computer.
